Creative classes are weekly 45-50 minute music, movement, & art experiences planned around new thematic content each week. The first 35-40 minutes with music & movement. The last 10-15 minutes are spent in process based art. Ages birth - elementary.

We offer virtual educational enrichment classes via ZOOM for children in 1st-6th grades, Monday through Friday, five days a week from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PST.
The Nelson-Atkins joins area agencies to provide pre-k, after-school and summer art workshops for children with disabilities or who are facing economic barriers.
Workshops can occur at partnering agencies, at the museum or combination of both. Programs feature interactive discussions of the museum collection and hands-on art-making.

This is way more than an art class. We’re constantly mixing things up with new projects and activities, and your kids get to make creative choices within each project! Your child will explore all kinds of art mediums including paint, clay, drawing utensils, and papers.
