Paul and Wynne Peterson began the tree field in 1985 with the first tree plantings in the front, west field. Wynne's dad, Al Wilber, and Paul's dad, Odell Peterson, helped with the plantings in the early years. Five hundred Scotch pines lined the front field in rows. Twin Pines ¦ Whispering Pines ¦ Charlie Brown Forest ¦ these were all names we considered when naming our tree farm.
