Remake Learning Days Festival at Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College

Get your hands dirty at this FREE day full of hands-on educational experiences for kids of all ages. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 | Midwest Trust Center and JCCC campus. Free; registration required. Dance and sing with Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove, Dino O’Dell and Funky Mama at the MTC Kids Jam Concert, discover your inner artist and dive into learning with STEAM activities across campus.

Schedule
10 a.m. Discover your inner artist with hands-on art activities in the Midwest Trust Center (MTC) lobby, led by the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
11 a.m. Dance and sing with Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove, Dino O’Dell and Funky Mama at an hour-long MTC Kids Jam Concert in Polsky Theatre.
Noon-3 p.m. Dive into learning with 30-minute STEAM activities sponsored by JCCC’s academic departments. When you register, choose from interactive sessions such as making a volcano, becoming a chemist or physicist, cooking up some snacks, playing games or going on a scavenger hunt.
3 p.m. Finish the day at an outdoor KC Symphony Mobile Music Box concert in the parking lot between the Midwest Trust Center and Regnier Center. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs and settle in for an unforgettable 40-minute performance.
