Play is one of a baby’s favorite things – and it’s one of the best things for a baby’s developing mind. A baby’s brain is filled with billions of neurons waiting to be connected through attachment based play. That's why Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City designed a unique baby play group called Play with Me!
Play with Me! is a highly interactive experience, with an emphasis on mindful, empathic parenting and optimizing your baby’s development through your relationship. Participants will find new and supportive friendships with other caregivers, discuss weekly topics, and learn songs and play activities designed to build baby’s brain!
Play with Me! is led by Wonderscope's Director of Programs Amy Nelson. Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist, and has nearly 10 years of experience working in the field of early childhood.
