Join the Peace Pavilion from 10 am - 4 pm Saturday, April 20 to honor Earth Day with free and fun eco-inspired activities! Plant something for pollinators, make a bee-u-tiful magnet and other recycled creations, and explore how pollinators help your food grow. We also invite you to tour our museum exhibits which teach about peace with games, activities, technology, and more - with free admissions for the first 100 kids thanks to local Independence sponsors!

Join our FREE Earth Day activities on Saturday, April 20!

  • Plant something for your pollinators with BA Botanicals from 10-11 am
  • Create a bee-u-tiful refrigerator magnet and other eco-inspired creations from recycled materials from 11 am-3 pm
  • Explore how pollinators help our food grow from 2:30-3:30 pm with Jeremiah from George Owens Nature Center 

While you are there we invite you to experience this interactive kid’s museum and receive a free baby spider plant with admission! The first 100 kids will receive free admission thanks to local sponsors including By George PR, McClain Restaurant Group, CRM Stores, & Independence Square Association.
