The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium and the Kansas City Zoo Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) are thrilled to present a daytime conservation lecture on Tuesday, August 22, from noon-1 pm! Join us in the Beastro Lobby Auditorium for a special talk with Wilton Nsimango of Painted Dog Conservation (PDC). Wilton will discuss efforts to protect the endangered African-painted dog species, which have been affected greatly by human interaction. Hailing from Zimbabwe, Wilton joined PDC in 2004 as the environmental education officer after serving in the education sector for 17 years.
The lecture is included in the price of Zoo admission or membership, and no reservations are needed. We hope to see you there!
