Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Hear from Dr. Laurie Marker, founder and executive director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund, as she discusses her 45+ years of experience creating conservation strategies for cheetahs specializing in human-wildlife conflict, illegal wildlife trade, human livelihoods, and breeding. Learn how the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium supports this program and how its staff are applying their skills and knowledge while participating in similar projects.

Want to attend but need an option for the kids? We’ve got you covered! We offer a great opportunity for our younger conservationists to explore cheetahs. Our educators will share an engaging curriculum about cheetahs, their home and current threats. This program is geared for children ages 5-12.
