PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
For children ages 5, 6, 7, or 8
Kids yoga is independent of caregivers. In this class we will explore yoga poses and character skills through storytelling, we’ll practice relaxation and self-regulation techniques through various mindfulness activities, and we will learn social emotional skills through mindfulness games and exercises. Most importantly, we will have fun! Children will be encouraged to listen to their bodies and to go at their own pace.

Maria McNeal, a certified kid’s yoga teacher and certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, passionate about helping others to live a balanced, joyful, and mindful life. She has ten years of experience as a primary elementary teacher and is a mom to a little budding little yogi.
