Guided Walking Tour: Downtown Murals

Join the City of Liberty and Historic Liberty, Inc. for the 15th annual Historic Walking Tour Series. These architecture and history tours highlight Liberty's historic features and stories of the past.

Tours are led by a variety of volunteers and local experts and feature a different topic each month. The tours are a favorite among history and architecture buffs across the metropolitan area. All tours begin at 10 a.m. and generally last an hour.
About this tour: Downtown Liberty is loaded with murals. On this tour we will discover murals of paint and tiles, housed inside and outside that silently tell the rich stories of Liberty and Clay County from Lewis and Clark to present time. Tour meets at the fountain in front of City Hall, 101 E Kansas St.
