Gingerbread House & Landscaping Workshop- Powell Gardens

Spend an afternoon designing your gingerbread dream house and landscape with chef Melissa Fahlstrom of Sugar Whipped Bakery on December 8, 2019. Receive instruction on assembling a pre-baked gingerbread house (dimensions estimated 10 x 10 x 10 inches) and some fabulous tricks of the trade, including how to make windows look like stained glass and cookies look like snowy shingles. Finish off your masterpiece with a variety of frostings and ready-made candies.

Participants will receive recipes for gingerbread dough and frosting, and how-to demos to take home. We recommend no more than two children per gingerbread house. Best for children ages six and older. Please register by December 2. Space limited to 20 gingerbread houses/60 persons (adults and children total).
