*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 04/01/2020
Learn about the famous contemporary African American artist, Mickalene Thomas. Mickalene’s work focuses on womanhood, redefining and challenging our notions of beauty in today’s society. Her visually striking work sometimes included rhinestones to emphasize key elements of her painting. We will be inspired by Thomas’ work and will create a portrait that reflects her bold style Apr 20, 2020
