In this camp, we will be discussing the history of staple foods made from simple ingredients. It is taught through the lens of history, with a bit of nutrition science thrown in. Mr. Lakso is excited to share his love for cooking and teaching with you and hope to help them explore new foods through familiar favorites, such as sandwiches, rice, Greek, pasta, and popcorn, capping the week off with watching the Pixar movie Ratatouille!
