Welcome to Chess Camp with our community partners at Kansas City Chess Club! Whether you're a seasoned player or complete newbie, this camp is the perfect way to sharper your skills at the board. For kids ages Kindergarten to 3rd Grade.

Designed to introduce youth to chess strategy and tactics while having fun, The Kansas City Chess Club Coaches will show beginners through advanced students how to improve their play. Daily activities will include casual play, chess lessons and training exercises, National Rated competition games, building Lego chess sets and chessboards, Bughouse and Fischer Random Chess, Pokémon, and Minecraft. Each student will receive a chess workbook, chess medal, and chess set.
