Join us as Smithville celebrates the season on Saturday, December 7th for a "CandyLand Christmas in Downtown Smithville". START at the Smithville Senior Center to see Santa, then grab a goody bag and CandyLand map of our business goody stops. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Afterwards, stay the lighting of the Mayors Christmas Tree at 6pm.
We will once again be hosting our popular CandyLand Christmas event in downtown Smithville. Kids can drop their letters to Santa and pick up a goody bag before we send them off on a treasure hunt through downtown. Please consider helping us by providing a monetary donation, trinket, or treat for the goody bags! Here's how you can get involved:
- If your business is downtown, we'll add you to the CandyLand map! All you need to do is be open during the hours and provide an activity or treat for the kids when they come visit.
- If your business is not downtown we are offering an opportunity to Chamber Members at the Senior Center. You will be able to set up a "booth" in the Senior Center during the event hours and provide a fun activity or treat for the kids when they come by. These spaces will be limited so please get with Erika ASAP.
Sponsor the event by donating trinkets to fill goody bags, or consider a monetary sponsorship. We fill around 600 bags for this event.
- Gumdrop Sponsor ($25 or goody bag donation): Social Media Recognition.
- Candy Cane Sponsor ($50): Logo recognition on website & social media.
- Lollipop Sponsor ($75): Logo recognition on website/social media recognition, PLUS listed on the map.
- Santa's Workshop Sponsor ($100): Listed on Map, logo recognition on website/social media, and on signage at event.
