2024 Lunar New Year Festival at the Nelson-Atkins

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the Nelson-Atkins! Guests are invited to explore treasures from the Asian art collections and enjoy activities, dances, and music marking the Lunar New Year. The festival is free, but registration is required. Although you may register upon admission, we strongly recommend registering in advance.

Parking
Garage parking at the Nelson-Atkins is free for members and $14 for the public. Additional parking and a free shuttle to the museum will be available at the Cherry Street Parking Structure at 50th and Oak (5005 Oak Street) from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
