Ring in 2019 on Monday, December 31 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm with a pancake breakfast sponsored by Hy-Vee, serious fun sensory play and the thrilling KCDC balloon drop at noon! Each child will receive a party kit and wonderful memories of their special new year celebration. It’s all the fun of New Year’s Eve, specially designed for young children.
Noon Year’s Eve is $17 for adults and children, $15 for KCDC members. Advance tickets are required and can be purchased online. Proceeds from Noon Year’s Eve fund special programs for children in need, to ensure rich, diverse museum experiences for every child.
Noon Year’s Eve also includes a morning of play at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus one of the last chances to see The Pigeon Comes to Topeka! A Mo Willems Exhibit, which closes on January 4, 2019. KCDC is open only for Noon Year’s Eve ticket-holders on December 31. The museum is not open for general admission on New Year’s Eve.
