*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 08/28/2022
Have you ever wondered what it was like living during the time of the Great War? Join us for our free, annual summer event! Featuring the Living History Volunteer Corps and other World War I living historians sharing their knowledge, we invite the public to inspect their collections in a camp setting on the Museum and Memorial grounds. The Kansas City Dawn Patrol will have several replicated WWI-era aircraft on display (weather permitting). As we are able, a children’s obstacle course will be available.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Schedule:

Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

As we are able, a children’s obstacle course will be available and Living Historians will offer educational programs each day at 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
