Kansas City Academy is an independent middle and high school serving the Kansas City community since 1984. At KCA, our holistic education goes beyond traditional school. We create an accepting, encouraging supportive, and nurturing community. Students are empowered to find their voices, encouraged to question, and prepared to shape the future. Students learn in collaboration with teachers who challenge them and treat them with mutual respect. A Kansas City Academy education combines rigorous academic content with active, engaged teaching and community service, along with real-world projects.
