Experienced culinary instructor, grade school teacher and healthy cooking expert Tracy Blizman is going to teach young chefs 6-8 years old how to have fun while you learn to cook with fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the Farmers Market. Real cooking skills and techniques will be taught as these healthy alternatives to fast food or junk food become these kids’ favorites. The focus will be on edible art as the kids use brightly colored produce and turn it into beautiful customized edible art as they create kid-perfect dishes such as salsas, muffins, power drinks and more! And if your child doesn’t take to as may fruits and veggies as you think they should, then let us work our magic in the kitchen. If it’s fun, they’ll eat. What a fun way to spend a summer Monday!
