Homeschool SciFun Camp: Dinosaurs - Museum at Prairiefire
We’ve all heard of the most famous dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex, but what do you know about its smaller relatives, like Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis? Year after year, more and more dinosaur species continue to be discovered. Year after year, we are learning more about how these animals lived. In this camp, you will learn what modern technology has revealed about the lives of dinosaurs. Learn how to calculate a dinosaur’s speed based on their tracks and how to weigh a dinosaur. Of course, it all starts with finding fossils. You will practice digging your own fossils in our fossil patties. For elementary school age learners.
