Missouri, the Cave State, is home to over 7,000 natural caves.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Come and join us as we discuss the caves and cave life of Missouri as well as an introduction to caving safely and why we need to protect this unique ecosystem. We will meet at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center on Thursday evening and then we will meet at Cliff Cave County Park in South County on Saturday morning for the field trip portion. Helmets and one headlamp will be provided. Please wear rubber boots as well as bring 2 additional sources of light. Field trip portion will be canceled in heavy rain. If large clusters of bats are encountered, the field trip portion will be cut short.

***Register each person individually. No one under 10 allowed during the field trip portion due to safety and proper equipment available. ***
