JCPRD's Children Service's Trucks and Big Rigs

Do you have a child who LOVES trucks? Bring them out to the parking lot of The Theatre in the Park, located in beautiful Shawnee Mission Park, to explore trucks, tractors, construction, and city vehicles up close.

Crawl, climb, and sit in the driver's seat and talk with the real life operators of these vehicles. We also feature the tow truck character from the animation movie: Cars, as well as many other kids favorites.
Benefiting Special Olympics & Special Populations
Admission to this three-hour event is free, but a donation of $10 per participant vehicle is suggested at the gate. All proceeds will benefit the JCPRD Special Olympics and Special Populations Department.
